2.2. Using cxgbtool
i. If you haven't done already, download and install ChelsioUwire-x.xx.x.x.tar.gz from Chelsio
Download Center, service.chelsio.com
ii. Generate default boot configuration file using bootcfg utility:
[root@host]# bootcfg default <boot_config_file>
The boot configuration file generated will only enable PXE by default.
iii. Load Network driver using the following command:
[root@host]# modprobe cxgb4
iv. Flash the boot configuration file using the following command:
[root@host]# cxgbtool ethX loadboot-cfg <boot_config_file>
Where, ethX is the Chelsio interface.
v. Flash Option ROM using the following command:
[root@host]# cxgbtool ethX loadboot /lib/firmware/cxgb4/cuwlbt4.bin
vi. Flash appropriate firmware using the following command
(t4fw-x.xx.xx.x.bin for T4 adapters;t5fw-x.xx.xx.x.bin for T5 adapters):
[root@host]# cxgbtool ethX loadfw <firmware_file>.bin
Where, ethX is the Chelsio interface.
vii. Reboot for changes to take effect.
